Voice Calls

Starting a voice call:
- Open a conversation with your contact
- Tap the phone icon at the top
- Wait for them to answer
During a call:
- Mute/Unmute: Tap the microphone icon to control your audio
- Speaker: Switch between earpiece and speakerphone
- End Call: Tap the red button to disconnect
Call quality:
- Adaptive bitrate adjusts to your connection
- End-to-end encryption on all calls
- No call data stored on servers
Video Calls
Face-to-face communication with high-quality video streaming.
Starting a video call:
- Open a conversation with your contact
- Tap the video camera icon at the top
- Wait for them to answer
During a call:
- Camera Toggle: Turn your camera on or off at any time
- Switch Camera: Flip between front and rear cameras
- Mute/Unmute: Control your microphone
- End Call: Tap the red button to disconnect
Video features:
- HD video quality when bandwidth allows
- Automatic quality adjustment for slower connections
- Works on WiFi and cellular data
Screen Sharing
Share your screen with contacts during calls for collaboration, presentations, or troubleshooting.
How to share your screen:
- During a voice or video call, tap the screen share icon
- Confirm you want to share
- Your entire screen becomes visible to the other participant
- Tap stop sharing when finished
Use cases:
- Walking someone through a process
- Presenting documents or slides
- Troubleshooting technical issues together
- Collaborative review sessions
Privacy note: Screen sharing shows everything on your screen. Close sensitive apps or notifications before sharing.
Group Chats
Communicate with multiple people simultaneously while maintaining the same security and privacy standards as individual conversations.
Creating a Group
How to create:
- Tap the new chat icon
- Select "New Group"
- Add members from your contacts
- Name your group
- Tap Create

Group settings:
- Set a group name and photo
- Choose whether it's private or public
- Configure admin permissions
Private vs. Public Groups
Private Groups
- Invite-only membership
- Only admins can add new members
- Content visible only to members
- Best for: Teams, families, close friends
Public Groups
- Discoverable via search
- Anyone can request to join
- Admins approve join requests
- Best for: Communities, interest groups, open discussions
Managing Groups
Admin capabilities:
- Add new members from contacts
- Assign other members as admins
- Remove admin status from members
- Remove members from the group
- Edit group name and photo
- Delete the group
How to manage:
- Open the group chat
- Tap the group name at the top
- Access member management and settings

Group Communication Features
Groups support all standard Tr3sPass features:
- Send text messages, images, videos, documents, and GIFs
- Share your location with all group members
- Forward messages to and from groups
- Delete messages for yourself or for everyone
- View read receipts to see who has read your messages
- Reply to specific messages for threaded conversations
Group Calls
Connect with multiple group members simultaneously.
Starting a group call:
- Open the group chat
- Tap the phone or video icon
- Select which members to include (or call everyone)
- Wait for participants to join
Group call features:

- See who's speaking
- Join/leave without ending the call for others
Call History
Access your recent calls and call back quickly.
Viewing call history:
- Go to the Calls tab
- See all recent incoming, outgoing, and missed calls
- Tap any entry to call back
Call history shows:
- Contact name and photo
- Call type (voice/video, incoming/outgoing/missed)
- Date and time
- Call duration
